B.C. Jindal group acquires 100% shares of Treofan Europe
B.C. Jindal grouping has acquired 100% shares of Treofan Holdings GmbH, Frg 'Treofan Europe'. Yard&C S.P.A., owner of Treofan Holdings GmbH, has sold its controlling stake in Treofan Europe to Jindal Films, and the legally binding agreement was signed on 6 Baronial 2018. Treofan Europe is a major manufacturer of biaxially oriented propylene films (BOPP films) for packaging, label, tobacco and technical applications in Europe. The acquisition of Treofan Europe strengthens B.C. Jindal group's position in the industry, offering a very wide and complementary product range and an appealing value proposition to support customers' evolving needs.
Jindal Films is a global leader in the evolution and manufacture of speciality biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films and has affiliated product plants in and India, Europe and the United States. The visitor and its affiliates have sales offices to support customer needs in countries around the globe, including North and South America, Europe and Asia, with a global headcount of approximately 3,000.
